North Star Community Credit Union (formerly known as Northern Tier Federal Credit Union) was founded in 1959. It's the 5th biggest credit union in North Dakota with assets totaling $348.34 Million and providing banking services to more than 20,000 members.
The credit union is a member-owned financial cooperative providing financial banking services to multiple member groups, but primarily serves the military, i.e. members in the armed forces. Membership is also open to immediate family of current members.
