Since its original charter in 1888, America's Community Bank has been independently owned and operated as a community bank. Deposits are insured by the FDIC and the Bank is a member of the Federal Reserve System.
The bank was originally chartered as Bank of Urich in 1888 with its only office located in Urich, Missouri. This office, located in Henry County, was the bank’s only office for about 107 years. A second office located in Chilhowee, (Johnson County) Missouri was purchased in 1995 and at that time, the bank’s name was changed to First Country Bank. Our third office was opened in Blue Springs, (Jackson County) Missouri in 1997 and is now the home of our main office.
In October, 2003 the name of the bank was changed to America’s Community Bank to more effectively promote the products and services offered in the three communities in which bank offices are located. On December 30, 2011, the Urich office was sold, leaving America's Community Bank with offices in Blue Springs and Chilhowee, Missouri to serve the needs of our customers.
