Since 1904, Citizens State Bank has proudly served residents and businesses throughout Western Wisconsin . In July 1904, we opened the doors of our first office on Main Street in Woodville , Wisconsin . The Woodville community welcomed us with open arms and was the home of our only banking office for more than 85 years.
The bank was ready for expansion in 1990 and chose North Menomonie for its second home. The second branch of Citizens State Bank opened on North Broadway in the Fall of that year. This expansion was just the beginning of more than a decade of exciting growth. In 1993, Citizens State Bank acquired the First State Bank of Elmwood (also established in 1904), and bank added a third office to the Citizens State Bank family.
In January 1998, Citizens State Bank acquired Bank St. Croix, with offices in Roberts and Hudson, and moved the bank's headquarters to the Hudson office. Bank St. Croix, formerly known as The State Bank of Roberts, began serving the Roberts community in 1903 and later expanded into Hudson. In March 2004, a second Citizens State Bank office was opened in Menomonie, on the East side of town, to serve this growing community.
Today, Citizens State Bank proudly serves its customers from our six banking offices in Western Wisconsin. With a friendly, knowledgeable staff and competitive products and services, bank looks forward to continued growth and success.
