Grant County Deposit Bank was founded and organized in 1882. The first day of business for Grant County Deposit Bank was March 6, 1882. On January 3, 1885 dividends were declared and were to be paid to stockholders. Dividends have been paid continuously ever since. In order to secure continuing local ownership for Grant county Deposit Bank, a Bank Holding company was organized on August 9, 1984. The holding company was named Grant County Bancorp, Inc.
