Terms and Definitions

• Domestic deposits

  The sum of all domestic deposits, including demand deposits, money market deposits and time deposits.
• Equity capital

  Total equity capital (includes preferred and common stock, surplus and undivided profits).
• ROA

  Return on assets, net income after taxes and extraordinary items (annualized) as a percent of average total assets.
• ROE

  Return on equity, annualized net income as a percent of average equity on a consolidated basis.

Lafayette Savings Bank enjoys the distinction of being the oldest financial institution in Indiana. Originally organized in 1869, Lafayette Savings Bank converted to a federal savings bank in 1984. Lafayette Savings' deposits are insured up to the applicable limits by the FDIC. In February 1995, Lafayette Savings bank converted to the stock form of organization through the sale and issuance of 1,029,576 shares of its common stock to LSB Financial.

SB Financial's principal asset is the outstanding stock of Lafayette Savings Bank. LSB Financial is traded on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol LSBI.
