The Pinnacle Bank story began in 1938 in Palmer, Nebraska. George Dinsdale, a farmer and cattle feeder, and some friends decided Palmer was in need of a bank, as the Great Depression had taken its toll on banking services in Palmer. They opened State Bank Palmer, the forerunner of the banking company today known as Pinnacle Bancorp, Inc.
Pinnacle Bancorp Inc. today is a bank holding company with four charters: Pinnacle Bank Nebraska, Pinnacle Bank Wyoming, Pinnacle Bank Texas and Bank of Colorado. Pinnacle Bank is a 130 locations, in eight states, $7.6B in assets and now a third generation of Dinsdales in the business.
