Terms and Definitions

• Domestic deposits

  The sum of all domestic deposits, including demand deposits, money market deposits and time deposits.
• Equity capital

  Total equity capital (includes preferred and common stock, surplus and undivided profits).
• ROA

  Return on assets, net income after taxes and extraordinary items (annualized) as a percent of average total assets.
• ROE

  Return on equity, annualized net income as a percent of average equity on a consolidated basis.

Security Trust and Savings Bank was founded in 1908. The bank opened the first remote drive-up facility in Storm Lake in 1961 and have added a drive-up ATM, a convenience store ATM and a 24 hour lobby ATM to better serve its customers. Security Trust & Savings Bank tripled its main bank space in 1985 with a major expansion and remodeling. Since 1908 we have adapted to changes in the banking industry in order to serve its customers more efficiently.
