On January 4, 2013, United Bank, founded as the Bank of Atmore, celebrated 109 years of service to the South Alabama and Northwest Florida communities.

United Bank started the 21st century with continued growth by opening full service branches in Silverhill, Magnolia Springs, Summerdale, and a second office in Bay Minette.

United Bank entered Florida with full service branching in Jay and Milton, Florida in 2005. The Business Banking Center was opened in Loxley in November of 2006. The Pace, Florida branch was opened in 2007 along with a new office in the Eastern Shore Centre. United Bank recently opened a full service branch located just behind the Loxley Business Center bringing total branches to 17 in addition to three specialized loan offices.

Today, United Bank is routinely recognized as one of America's strongest banks by national bank ratings firms. United Bank's Internet Banking is an exciting opportunity to better serve customers and introduce others to United Bank's style of "high tech, high touch" banking by developing financial products and services that help customers live and work and offer customer service and convenience, too.
