Citizens National Bank is a full-service, independent community bank serving six locations in lower northern Michigan; Cheboygan, Onaway, Mackinaw City, Pellston, Indian River and Alanson. Citizens National Bank is the largest, locally-owned bank in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan.

In 2009, Citizens National Bank celebrated its 78th anniversary. On January 24, 1931 the bank received its charter from the federal Comptroller of the Currency and is entirely owned by the CNB Corporation. Since that time, CNB has served the people and the communities of Cheboygan and over time added five branch locations; Onaway, Mackinaw City, Pellston, Indian River and in 2005 Alanson.

New Gaylord Loan Office is now open for business. The Loan Office is located at 252 W. Main Street in downtown Gaylord at the corner of Main Street and Otsego Avenue.
