Menno State bank was started back in 1901. When J.W. Ulmer started a clothing store he also had a vault. Since he had a vault, he held money for many local residents. For 112 years the bank has remained in the family. The fifth generation is still working and operating the business.

The bank currently employs 8 local residents. Patrons currently have the ability to use checking and savings accounts, debit and credit cards, take out a loan, and even put money into an IRA. With 112 years of business the Menno community is proud to support Menno State Bank.
