Terms and Definitions

• Domestic deposits

  The sum of all domestic deposits, including demand deposits, money market deposits and time deposits.
• Equity capital

  Total equity capital (includes preferred and common stock, surplus and undivided profits).
• ROA

  Return on assets, net income after taxes and extraordinary items (annualized) as a percent of average total assets.
• ROE

  Return on equity, annualized net income as a percent of average equity on a consolidated basis.

Pendleton Community Bank opened for business in Franklin on March 29, 1937 in the building just across Main Street from E. Bowman & Bro. This building had been built in 1924 and had been occupied by the Farmers Bank of Pendleton. Early in 1968 the bank moved to its present location - the corner of Main and Pine Streets. The Moorefield Financial Center opened in 1999, moving into their current location in 2000. The Marlinton Financial Center opened in October 2001 and moved into their current location in May of 2005; and the Harrisonburg Financial Center opened in July, 2006.
