Peoples Trust & Savings Bank has been a Warrick County institution since 1895, and was the only financial institution in Boonville to remain open through the Great Depression. From those humble beginnings Peoples Bank grew into the oldest locally-owned bank in Warrick County.
Peoples Bank has been located on the square in Boonville for over 100 years. The first branch location began operations at Paradise Park in the fall of 2000. In January of 2002 the bank joined forces with another Warrick County institution: Shelton Insurance joined the Peoples Bank team. In 2004 Inman Insurance joined the bank which allows the Peoples Trust and Savings Bank to further serve the local area with a full line of insurance products and services. During the Spring of 2004 Peoples Trust and Savings Bank opened its second branch location at 705 State Street in Newburgh. This bank branch location is set up in the heart of Historic Newburgh.
